What You'll Do:
- Personalised Care: Assist with all aspects of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always ensuring dignity and respect.
- Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious and delicious meals, taking dietary requirements and preferences into account.
- Medication Support: Prompt and assist with medication administration, ensuring correct dosages and timings.
- Companionship: Provide engaging companionship, including conversation, reading, and participation in hobbies and interests.
- Household Support: Assist with light household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping to maintain a comfortable and safe environment.

What You'll Need:
- Ideally proven experience in a caregiving role, ideally with live-in experience; however, it is not essential

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

As a Waking Night Carer, you will provide vital overnight support to clients in their own homes. You’ll ensure safety, comfort and reassurance throughout the night, delivering high-quality care to those who need it most. This role suits someone compassionate, attentive and confident working independently during night hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and mobility support overnight
- Monitoring client wellbeing and responding promptly to any needs
- Administering medication or providing prompts (where required)
- Offering reassurance and companionship during the night
- Completing accurate records and handovers
- Maintaining a safe, supportive environment throughout the shift
No experience is required. We provide full training and shadow shifts to ensure you feel fully prepared.
